When it comes to reviews, a majority of reviewers note that their hair grew in spots where their scalp was visible before. On the other hand, a few 1-star reviews have to do with allergic reactions, scalp sensitivity, no changes, or even increased hair loss.

For example, minoxidil (the active ingredient in Rogaine) has been proven to support hair regrowth for many people and is more likely to give you the results you are looking for than an untested ingredient.

I have used many other so-called hair growth products, but none of them has worked for me. I am currently using the Scalp Stimulating Shampoo, the Volumizing Keratin Conditioner, the Keranique Hair Regrowth Treatment, and the Thickening and Texturizing Mousse. The Shampoo has a faint mint smell, but not overpowering. It left my fine hair feeling clean and didn't weigh it down. The Conditioner is light-weight and left my hair soft but not limp. It gives just the right amount of moisture and shine. I have applied 1 oz of the Hair Regrowth Treatment 2x a day to my scalp. The product has no smell (a definite plus) and is easy to apply with the enclosed dropper. It dries quickly and does not interfere with hair styling products. So far, I have noticed that I am losing fewer hairs each day. It takes approximately 4 months of using the regrowth treatment to see results, but I believe it is already making a difference in my hair. I see less of my scalp when I look in the mirror and the volume appears to have increased. In the morning, after washing, conditioning, and applying the treatment, I apply the Mousse. It works best when applied directly to the hair. It is easily worked into the hair and is not sticky. I have used MANY different mousse products, and this is one of my favorites. It adds significant volume and texture. MONTH 2: I have faithfully applied the Treatment 2x a day. I have continued using the Shampoo, Conditioner, and Mousse every morning. It is not necessary to apply a large amount. I can truly say that this is a wonderful outcome. I have used the product only two months, so I believe that this is just the start of my new hair growth. I can't wait to see what my results will be after using the product four months. I continue to be pleased with all the products and how they are working. I would highly recommend this product line.

We're mostly unimpressed with Keranique's products and don't currently recommend any of them. The Hair Regrowth Treatment is likely to be effective in our opinion because it provides an effective dose of minoxidil which is the only FDA-approved hair growth drug. However, this ingredient can be obtained cheaper elsewhere; it's not unique to Keranique.

Infused with 2% Minoxidil (the only FDA-approved ingredient clinically proven to help hair regrowth), the treatment is fitted with a nozzle for targeted application, allowing optimum delivery to the scalp for maximum efficacy. With continued use, hair growth will be supported.
